| Introduction |
While I was working at AracniaStudios I started development of a small multimedia game. The game was loosely based on a Flash game called Goldyard. I designed and modeled characters, props and environments for the game. The engineer I was working with designed a user interface and programmed it in Macromedia Director. We had a very buggy demo at the time. At some point in November 2003, I had to leave the company and so far as I know development stopped. It is not likely that the game will be finished. 2D art for the game can be appreciated here. 3D art for the game can be appreciated here. |
| Story Synopsis |
OPERANTE es un robot que trabaja en una planta de producción importante. Un día tiene un grave accidente laboral. Pasado un tiempo OPERANTE despierta en un taller ilegal de reparaciones en un basurero tecnológico, sin saber quien es ni como y porque llegó ahí pues ha perdido la memoria. RECICLADOR, el cyborg que le ha reparado, le ha dado ‘libre albedrío’, le ha renombrado BUSCADOR y le ha reprogramado para liberar a otros robots. BUSCADOR se da cuenta que ha perdido su memoria y RECICLADOR aparentemente no sabe nada de la vida anterior de BUSCADOR, pero le dice que si quiere saber quien era antes, deberá ir con FABRICANTE. Durante el transcurso de la aventura, BUSCADOR (OPERANTE) resolverá rompecabezas y descubrirá pistas sobre su origen y la realidad social de su mundo. |
